Steve Martin actually plays the accordion in various scenes
Story
Three strangers who live in the same New York apartment building and have a penchant for true crime suddenly find themselves on a murder spree. He is actually a very accomplished and talented musician. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel, with that elevator scene.
I liked season 1 and 2, but I don’t really like season 3
BUT the opening shows CHS in an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th in reverse order and way below the actual floor of the CHS apartment. Appeared in AniMat’s wacky animated film Actors: The Rat of All My Dreams (2020). I used to rate the show an 8, but after the third season I had to downgrade it.
The main characters seem to have different personalities
Seasons 1 and 2 of the show were warm, engaging, and entertaining, but a lot of things get a little lost in Season 3. I personally don’t really like the season 3 theme song, but others seem to like it. The revelations are obvious and easy to guess at the beginning and not very interesting/twists.
I wish the series continued, more like season 1
The writing seems a lot less serious because they know it’s a silly premise, so they didn’t put much effort into the writing. Overall I am disappointed with season 3, the ending was definitely not worth 10 episodes.
