It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-standing rivalry comes to a head. Incidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (Rivals’ Priory). In 2015 the same filming location was used to portray Trenwith House in the BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books so I can’t comment on how accurate this is.
That’s a little weird
However, I can say that I enjoyed this show a lot and hope to do a second series. But it makes for great TV. And the Great Escape. I managed to watch everything in 2 days.
I wish there were more episodes
Glad they didn’t drag it out too much though. David Tennant is great as usual. But I was really surprised at how good Danny Dyer was. I have seen him on several occasions.
But he was smart
(Who doesn’t) And when I saw him in this, I was a little suspicious. There are many characters that I love and loved to hate. Too many to mention. I highly recommend it.
