A Montana ranching family faces off against others who are encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a veteran of the Rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montana accent and revert to his usual SoCal speaking voice.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on Your Radar (2018). I don’t think anyone does westerns better than Kevin Costner, and with Taylor Sheridan writing, it’s a win-win for viewers. Check out "Wind River" for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where was Cole Hauser hiding? He’s incredible. I guess the daughter is a necessary part, but she went overboard with being a bitch. The scenery is amazing and being from Colorado, I can really appreciate the vast beautiful country. Do yourself a favor and get hooked on this series because it’s going to be a winner.
