A Montana farming family faces off against others who are encroaching on their land. Lloyd is played by Forrie J. Smith, a seasoned rodeo veteran. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and drifts back to the SoCal accent he usually uses. Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best Under-the-Radar Summer TV Shows (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big-city mob life. This show is well-acted, the first two episodes are well-written, and leaves you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention the beautiful scenery of Montana and Utah. Dutton reminds me of Ewing’s 70s drama Dallas. Yellowstone “Dallas” for short; meets "The Sopranos".
