Come full happily-ever-after – After this year’s collection of holiday-themed romantic movies you can watch from the comfort of your own home
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family compete to win the team’s Fan of the Year competition in a process judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick.
The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norman and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are also real-life family-owned businesses
The film was filmed on location in historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round.
I thought this was a cute movie
The Square also does Christmas lighting, just like in the movie.
It’s definitely a signature movie where the over-the-top family is always trying to get in
It’s sports-themed, and I loved the little Easter eggs (Donna Kelce, Andy Reid, and older retired players) that appeared in the movie.
I highly recommend watching the movie, especially if you’re a woman who likes sports and romance
This movie was a nice departure from the usual “powerful female leader comes to a small town to fix something and falls in love with a ‘small town guy’.” Overall, though, it was a typical hallmark and still a cute Christmas-themed movie, even though it wasn’t as big a theme as football.
