Ignoring his qualifications and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes in people’s lives – including his own. In "Shrinking", they share the most important moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who did the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and was prepared to audition people like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role
Segel told Goldstein that they should at least take it to Ford first, because they thought he would immediately turn it down, but at least others would hear that Harrison Ford was taking the project, which sparked interest from other big-name actors. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he cheered up nonetheless. It’s listed on WatchMojo’s Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023).
The acting was fantastic
It was a solid production and a very unique story. I love how each character embraces their imperfections, shows vulnerability, and uses humor for spiritual growth. There are so many heartfelt moments, awkward moments, mildly funny moments, cute moments, and laugh out loud moments in Shrinking.
But neither of us
I hope they keep making more seasons of this because the character development warrants it. No. I think the overuse of swearing takes away from the overall power potential.
Definitely worth watching
It’s almost like the writers are trying to spice up the show with violence. I personally don’t think it’s necessary. That’s why I gave it an 8.
