Story
Kung fu prodigy Li Fong is uprooted from his Beijing home and forced to move to New York. When a friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition. Li’s teacher, Mr. Han, enlists the help of the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video announcing that Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan would both return for the new film, as well as launching a global casting search for the retitled “Karate Kid.” He appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Characters: Part of Halle’s World (2022).
