Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn discovers the rarest of friends – a lost jaguar cub she discovers named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to abandon Hope for the unknown in New York, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. 14-year-old Autumn, accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal smugglers and decides she must return to the Amazon, to her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s charming biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Anja joins Autumn on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who are trying to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
