Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the small town of Malegaon. City dwellers seek out Bollywood cinemas for a much-needed escape from their daily grind. Nasir was inspired to make a film for the residents of Malegaon by the residents of Malegaon. He gathers his ragtag group of friends to bring his vision to life and breathe new life into the town. The film is a moving yet uplifting look at filmmaking, friendship, and what happens when these two worlds collide.
