The prequel will be released later in 2022
Tale
In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to shoot an adult film on a rural farm in Texas, but when their reclusive elderly owners caught them red-handed, the crew found themselves fighting for their lives. The day after the premiere of the film “X” (2022), screenwriter and director Ti West said that during the mandatory two-week quarantine due to COVID-19 in his New Zealand hotel, before the start of filming of this film, he wrote the prequel “The Pearl” (2022 ). A24 saw the script and gave the green light to the film even before the shooting of “X” was completed. He asked star Mia Goth if she wanted to stay in New Zealand and film The Pearl, and she readily agreed.

When Lorraine goes into the basement and turns on the light, there is a modern halogen bulb that wasn’t available in 1979.. Maxine: I won’t accept a life I don’t deserve.. The title doesn’t even appear on the screen until the very end.. Mounted in MaXXXine (2024).
The cinematography is fantastic and perfectly matches the atmosphere and tone the film is aiming for
Do it naturally Performed by Loretta Lynn Screenplay by Von Morrison, Johnny Russell Provided by Geffen Records under license from Universal Music Enterprises. An interestingly slow pace, but without enough to stand out from the countless other horror films out there, X is a fine film and another tribute to the iconic genre that made horror so popular in the first place. Of course, I enjoy horror movies from time to time – I really like movies like A Nightmare on Elm Street and My Bloody Valentine, but where X goes wrong among others is in using a fairly familiar formula without any truly unique goals Throughout the film, the characters often talk about the X factor, something that makes Mia Goth’s character special and worthy of a star – but unlike the references – this film simply does not have it. The acting is really good, I like the underrated Mia Goth as always – and Brittany Snow, Martin Henderson and even Kid Cudi did a pretty impressive job.
He’s not the most memorable, but I certainly don’t hold him in any contempt
The music is nice and tense, and its tempo can be a bit slow at times, but it allows you to see an interesting point of view. Its main problem lies solely with its script, which largely revolves around the production of a raunchy film, but borrows too many elements and clichéd tendencies from other horror films such as The Evil Dead, Friday the 13th, The Visit, and , most obviously, “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” to really stand out and become something of its own. All in all, it’s a good watch, I wouldn’t watch it again, but I definitely don’t mind watching it. It simply could have been more, especially given the talent involved, but ironically, he settled for less.
