The bad guys struggle to find trust and acceptance in their newfound lives as good guys when they are pulled out of retirement and forced to do “one last job” by an all-female squad of criminals.. The second animated film collaboration between Marc Maron and Natasha Lyonne, following DC’s League of Super-Pets (2022). Coincidentally, the latter film was released the same year as Bad Guys (2022), and both films also featured guinea pigs as the main antagonists.
