Story
After geopolitics forced him into exile, Alexei Molchanov – the world’s greatest freediver and son of freediving pioneer Natalia Molchanova – spends 2023 on a journey to reclaim his sporting glory and honor his mother’s illustrious legacy by attempting the most dominant season in the history of the deadly sport. His near-suicidal quest to set five world records in less than four months takes him to the farthest corners of the globe and to the very edges of human endeavor. In the process, he is forced to reevaluate all the skills and beliefs he has built his life on.
