A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Brotherhood of Evil evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen is taken from ‘Mentats of Dune.’ All three books intertwine the evolution of the Brotherhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. It’s pretty stupid to me how many people complain about this show after a decent pilot.
The quality was good
I would give the first episode a 7.6. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it’s definitely not as crap as some of these idiotic critics make it out to be. NO, it’s not like Sex and the City.
Don’t overrate the show after just one episode
And YES, Benne Ghesserit’s entire mission is to manipulate the bloodlines within politics. That’s what the movies and books say, so what are you talking about, 1 to 5 stars!? Let’s get a few more episodes out first, dammit!
