The cast and acting are excellent, the costumes and set design are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it’s intriguing nonetheless, and I can’t wait to keep watching. It gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes. As someone who hasn’t enjoyed the last few Star Wars, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone who’s even remotely interested, or even upset by the recent series, gives it a chance. Don’t let the “for kids” talk put you off. Star Wars is for everyone, and so is this one.

However, they know that going outside the bunker is deadly dangerous. Some people decide to go outside to learn more, but they always die. Those who remain in the bunker can watch through the window every time someone wants to leave, and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays the main role of Juliet Nichols, who is trying to find out what is outside the bunker and why they can’t get out without dying. The acting is good, as is the development of the characters. However, the pace can be a bit slow, as there are several filler episodes. Undoubtedly, they could shorten the series to at least two episodes, but it doesn’t bother me much, because the series as a whole is very good. I’m looking forward to Season 2 with lots of intrigue, mystery and answers to questions about what’s going on outside the bunker!
