I never played the game lots of people at my jobs are fan of it.But this series is amazing, anime, story everything i can't wait to see season 2 and where it goes..
When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he transitions from student to vigilante serial killer under the guidance of his father, Harry… Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter (2006) first aired.. Followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). Dexter: Original Sin takes a bold gamble, harkening back to Dexter Morgan’s formative years and offering a fresh perspective on his dark sidekick.
One of the series' its greatest strength is its casting
While some prequels stumble under the weight of established canon, Original Sin largely succeeds, enriching the Dexter mythology while providing a compelling standalone story. Patrick Gibson, though initially a questionable choice, grows into the role of young Dexter, capturing a characteristic blend of social awkwardness and chillingly calculated violence. Molly Brown shines as Deb, imbuing the younger version of the character with a fiery spirit and vulnerability that resonates deeply. The supporting cast, including Alex Shimizu as Masuka and James Martinez as Batista, also deliver strong performances, effectively capturing the essence of their original counterparts.
Original sin is not without its flaws
Christian Slater, however, feels a bit misplaced as Harry, struggling to fully embody the character’s inner conflicts. The series deftly weaves in familiar elements from the original Dexter, including iconic musical cues and visual motifs, while also exploring new territory. A storyline involving Harry’s deceased son adds a layer of complexity to Dexter’s origin story, though it occasionally veers into melodramatic territory. The central mystery surrounding Dexter’s present-day predicament in Iron Lake provides a compelling thread, keeping tension high throughout the season.
The over-reliance on licensed music occasionally clashes with the show’s darker themes
The pacing can be uneven, with some episodes feeling rushed while others drag on. And while the CGI is generally improved over the first episode, some scenes still suffer from noticeable visual effects issues. Despite these flaws, Dexter: Original Sin is a worthy addition to the Dexter universe. It’s a darkly entertaining exploration of Dexter’s past, offering a fresh perspective on his transformation into the Bay Harbor Butcher.

Spies, London, Kira, Ben, quality cinematography, a wonderful soundtrack – what could go wrong?
A Tale of New York Author: Jem Feiner, Shane McGowan Performed by: The Pogues and Kirsty McCall. Plus, I already know that this is my favorite genre, and I will ignore any shortcomings. But when the dialogue in Episode 1 became slow, some moments dragged on too long, and the walls of Quinten-style dialogue requests left me sluggish, I tried to console myself.
I was wrong
Of course, they just develop the characters and set a unique tone. As the episodes went on, I realized that this series would not succeed. Not just disjointed, but with little or no characters that I was really interested in.
I’m so sad about what could have been
I honestly don’t know how magic happens, but I was deeply immersed in the stories and characters in Slow Horses, The Americans, Le Bureau, the Diplomat, and even The Old Man — despite all their flaws. Add to that the lack of stakes and numerous misses in basic details, and the ratio of annoying to intriguing is too high to be enjoyable. Yes, all the basic espionage elements are present in Black Doves, but somehow there was no salt in the recipe, and by E03 I was already increasing the playback speed.

Eliot called Gerontion
The former Director of Counterintelligence at the CIA, James Jesus Angleton, also known as the "poet-spy", described the Intelligence game as the "Wilderness of Mirrors", which was a phrase borrowed from a poem by T.S. In the world of Intelligence, in the search for truth, it is hard to tell the difference between reality and a reflection thereof, an illusion if you will, as if one were in a "Hall of Mirrors".. The two of them are incredibly underrated actors
It’s not the best spy series that I’ve seen but it’s definitely worth watching. Michael Fassbender is perfect for roles like this, as is Jeffery Wright. Add in Richard Gere and Katherine Waterston and you have one of the most talented casts on tv. The show might start off slow for some but stay with it because it does pick up.
I hope we get several seasons of this
It just takes its time as it builds its world and its characters but if you don’t have the patience for slow burn, well told shows then this isn’t for you. The Agency does a great job of showing the cost and the sacrifices it takes to be in this line of work.

Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, man-camps, assemble the excavation machinery, and drill the well itself, especially in remote locations. They are also part Fixer, Problem Solver, and Facilitator. 44.24 (2022). Apparently I’m a sucker for Taylor Sheridan shows.
It’s grossly gratuitous
They’re well written and funny. At this point I’d happily watch anything with her makeup on. But what’s with the girl in her underwear and her creepy sexualization? It’s extremely weird how obnoxious she is with this.
It’s really a headache
It’s almost so much that you don’t want to watch. I AM invested in the story so far. I also don’t understand why the women are so completely unlikable. The ex-wife is just ugggh.
He’s always positive
Is the show just geared to attract men? I love Billy Bob though.

From is a show built on suspense, mystery, and constant tension in a town filled with secrets
But by Episode 6 of Season 3, fans are starting to wonder: how long can the show keep us guessing without giving us any answers? This episode brings all the usual creepy vibes, and the characters remain on edge. Yet, despite being deep into the third season, we're still left with more questions than ever. Instead of giving us any real answers, it feels like the show just adds more layers to the mystery. If From keeps holding back without revealing anything, it might end up losing viewers who want at least a glimpse of the truth.
Right now, the mystery is still gripping-but we're all waiting for a little more light in the darkness
