The first season was an exciting, somewhat creative premise that showed a lot of premise. But in season three, it starts to feel like it’s being dragged out for no particular reason.
The new elements aren’t even interesting
Season 3 was basically 8 hours of boring drama and 10 minutes of new plot elements. They’re just there to fill in a series of unanswered plot lines. To make matters worse, the dialogue seems to be limited to vocals. It’s just there to fill time while the show searches for a premise.
Now that the main characters have become accustomed to their surroundings, they are free to roam and even regularly interact with ‘ghosts’
The series suffers from the same problem as The Walking Dead, repeating and recycling the same plot lines until they become completely ineffective. The scary monsters no longer add to the excitement, but feel like an afterthought that was left behind after the circus left town.

It's a long long journey
And yes of course that's because of the bad making of the season finale, I can totally understand that. After all these years hardwork, creating and developing each and every character from bottom to top, memories, emotions throughout the process all went to vain for one bad making. It's so painful to accept it for the audience who invested lots of time watching the show from the starting and then finishing it like this!

He's impressive
Farrell STEALS this series. There is nothing in the character that even hints of Farrell. The NY dialect, the sway and limp, the attitude : you'd swear it was another person.
Well-written and taut
The amazing prosthetics are very realistic and adds to the character.The show is gritty and graphic. There is nothing cartoonish about it. This makes a great counterpart to Christopher Nolan's Batman.
It's a shame
In fact, I'd say this blows Marvel's line out of the water.I'm hoping that their might be a season 2, but I know that this is limited. HBO has a legitimate hit on their hands.

If he doesn’t get the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and everywhere else he’s honored as Best Actor, it’s not to appreciate the work of the producers, the scriptwriters and the incredible makeup team that helped Colin Turin deliver this incredible performance that will define his career and make the Penguin the benchmark role for the next 3 generations.
